Curriculum
IB diploma candidates study a minimum of six subjects selected form six subject groups, concurrently over two years, as well as the core elements of the program (Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay, and Creativity, Action and Service). At least three and not more than four of the six subjects are taken at a higher level (240 hours) and require a greater depth of study across a broader range of content in the subject. The remaining are taken at the subsidiary level (150 hours). Within this model, students are able to explore some subjects in depth and some more broadly over the two year period.
